Research and development
Dedicated to innovation, Polytech Lille excels in five areas of research:
- Biological and food engineering
- Mathematics and modeling
- Physical chemistry and molecular and material sciences
- Information and communication sciences and technologies

Eight technology platforms are available to students. The school has partnerships with five competitiveness clusters.
A Learning Center and a Hubhouse (entrepreneurship) are available to engineering students on campus as well as a FabLab and a FoodLab within the school, a creative space dedicated to projects (design and production).
More than 300 internships per year in companies or research laboratories abroad.
More than 90 study stays abroad in the final year.
Double degrees are offered with foreign universities.
